Donated Book Plates

If you are looking for a project to do with your youth group or maybe kid's ministry, consider making some donated book plates usingsome colorful images or maybe your association's logo.

If your group ran a book drive for a school that you are helping as part of a ministry outreach program, collect all of the books and take consider what type of personalized bookplates you will be making. You could make several different types such as one with a hot coffee mug book plate for an older reading group, or a mosaic tea book plate for a senior citizen group you may be helping. These tea party book plates are easy to make, just start with the image and use some 3" x 5" pressure sensitive labels that you can print to.

 

Teaching kids to organize an event and then complete the project by bringing it to fulfillment once they hand out the donated books to a school, a shut-in program or a family in town, great rewards will come to each child as they participate. And the people who receive will benefit because they will know by the bookplates who gave them!
